The premiere student housing for Downtown Campus students is getting some upgrades!
UnionWest, part of the Creative Village that opened in 2019, is celebrating going into its third year at the Downtown Campus by adding in some sweet new options. Fall of 2021 is set to be jam-packed with new eateries, expanding greenery, and the classic downtown benefits featuring upgraded room-style options!

Students of the downtown campus can expect to see the opening of the highly anticipated restaurants Vera Asian and Qdoba. Vera Asian, the Asian-fusion inspired restaurant located on the first floor of the UnionWest building boasts fresh to order, simple food with a bold taste. Qdoba, the Mexican-style cuisine eatery is also slated to open this year.

In addition, students can also expect the breezy appearance of the brand-new eating addition to Creative Village, the Monroe! With its open-air aesthetic and large seating area, the Monroe looks to be a great spot for students to socialize in an open-air setting, power through a study group session, or simply enjoy some Orlando-inspired dishes.

Luminary Green, the 2.3-acre park and gathering space, is also set to open in the coming year. A mixture of art and nature, the park will have canopy trees for shading while featuring decorative and interactive light installations, lighting the park day and night.

On top of being only steps away from class, providing all-inclusive utilities and high-speed internet on every floor, UnionWest residence halls will also offer a new floor plan option. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom premium apartments will feature a set of private bedrooms and premium bedrooms. Premium style bedrooms are larger singles that will give residents more space with a full bed and double closets in the 4/2 apartment floorplan. This floor plan also includes a living space with a kitchenette. The premium style is a great option for upperclassmen and graduate students looking for private bedrooms in the Downtown Orlando area.
